I think I need a new bathroom!  At least, then, it would look nice, clean and shiny for awhile, that’s what I said to myself as I looked at all the soap scum, until I knew how to remove soap scum naturally. I’ve been putting off cleaning the shower in the office forever, thinking that it’s impossible to make it look good, but to my surprise this all natural solution worked!  Just see the before and after pics!

Soap scum consists of soap, minerals in the water, dirt and bacteria.  I’m going to tell you how to remove soap scum using all natural ingredients that really cut through to the shine!  I try to stay away from harsh chemicals which can be absorbed in your skin and inhaled.  Cleaners are toxic both to the person doing the cleaning and the rest of the family that comes in contact with it.  I rather not worry about toxins in the bathwater or in the bottom of the shower that may release from the bath tub and get absorbed in your skin whenever you’re bathing or showering!

How to Remove Soap Scum:

•    Cut a lemon in half and dip in baking soda or…
•    Rub lemon on fixture, then rub with a damp cloth dipped in baking soda.

The lemon and baking soda worked really well for my tub fixtures!  It took quite a bit of scrubbing, though.  I think they look just like new!  Guess I can wait for that new bathroom!
